MORNING STAR
An American design, the gaff rigged schooner of old freight cargo for coastal trading. Heavy and full keeled, like the traditional schooner, Morning Star is a stable and comfortable vessel that sails on an even keel. Rigged as a stay sail schooner she offers the best of the traditional and the modern; the stability and comfort of a heavy full keeled vessel as well as the improved performance and ease of sail handling offered by her more modern rig.
Though she will comfortably accommodate 12 passengers along with a licensed captain and full crew, the number of passengers is limited to six; assuring a true yachting experience. Heavily rigged at 72 feet and 35 tons Morning Star is in all respects a small ship. She is a beautiful vessel; as roomy and comfortable on deck as she is below deck in her hardwood cabins. She boasts roomy bunks, a fully galley with a large dinette, two heads, pressurized water system, full size shower; all the conveniences of home. With radar, GPS, VHF and depth sounder Morning Star is equipped for safe navigation in all waters.
